materials to support recruitment to our scheme

Partner Schools

We work closely with all Post 16 schools & colleges in Yorkshire & the Humber with principal contacts who receive RfE information materials every academic year. If you are unsure who supports the programme in your institution please do contact us on reachforexcellence@leeds.ac.uk for further information. We are always happy to add to our contacts list and can speak to you about signing up to our Educational Engagement mailing lists should you not already receive outreach information from the University of Leeds.

Reach for Excellence Information Talks

We are more than happy to arrange for a member of the team to visit school and speak to students directly either in an assembly or a lunchtime/afterschool meeting. We can adapt our recruitment presentation to suit your school or college and the time you have available, whether that’s a quick 15 minutes in an assembly or a full half hour session. We just need access to presentation software in the classroom to display our materials.

We will tailor the presentation to ensure that your students receive the most appropriate information about the relationship your school or college has built with our team, and the eligibility criteria that they may already meet. They’ll also be able to ask us questions and chat about the programme.

If we are unable to visit in person due to our availability we are also pleased to now offer an online option. These sessions will allow a member of our team to speak live to your students, using whichever virtual technology is most appropriate for your institution, be it Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype, etc.

Please contact reachforexcellence@leeds.ac.uk to discuss a date and time – talks are available daily until Friday 12th November.
